Receptionist
Location: Bletchley Leisure Centre, MK2 2HQ
Salary: £8.00 – £12.71 per hour dependent on age plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Casual contract, Covering casual shifts (annual leave and sickness) across our Monday to Sunday business hours 5:30am-11pm

As a Receptionist, you'll be the welcoming face of the facility, helping visitors access activities, services and information while delivering excellent customer service. Your work has purpose, supporting positive experiences for members and guests, helping to build trust within the community, and creating a positive impact on communities through accessible leisure services. Based at the heart of the facility, you'll play an important role in ensuring every customer receives a friendly, efficient and professional service.

What you’ll do as a Receptionist
- Welcome customers and provide accurate information about facilities, activities and services
- Deliver excellent customer service both face-to-face and over the telephone
- Process bookings, memberships and customer enquiries efficiently and professionally
- Handle cash transactions and follow all company financial procedures accurately
- Promote activities, products and services to support customer engagement and secondary spend
- Support colleagues across the facility and maintain a safe, clean and welcoming reception environment

- Experience providing excellent customer service in a customer-facing environment
- Confidence handling cash and maintaining accurate records
- Strong communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- A positive and adaptable approach to solving customer queries and challenges

Vetting and checks:
As well as checking eligibility to work in the UK, you will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to help us identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
