Full-time, Permanent | Onsite at our Head Office (Oswestry)

Nexa Law Limited is a dynamic, modern, and progressive SRA-regulated new-model law firm dedicated to delivering innovative legal solutions tailored to the needs of our consultant lawyers and their clients. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Receptionist to join our Support Team at our brand-new office on the outskirts of Oswestry.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who takes pride in creating a welcoming and professional environment, enjoys working with people and thrives in a busy office setting.

About the Role

As Nexa Law's Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, suppliers and visitors, acting as an ambassador for the firm and helping maintain the high standards we are known for.

You will be responsible for opening the office each day, ensuring our reception and communal areas remain professional and welcoming, answering incoming calls, greeting clients and supporting the wider office management function. You will also have the opportunity to assist our talented Legal Support Team with various administrative tasks, providing excellent exposure to a wide range of business operations.

This is a full-time onsite position and requires attendance at our Oswestry office every working day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Opening the office each morning and ensuring it is ready for the working day.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming reception area and communal spaces.
  • Monitoring and replenishing office, kitchen and hospitality supplies as required.
  • Supporting general office housekeeping duties.
  • Greeting clients, visitors and suppliers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Managing all incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries appropriately.
  • Taking messages accurately and ensuring prompt follow-up where required.
  • Receiving, processing and distributing deliveries and post.
  • Supporting the Head of Support/Office Manager with office management responsibilities.
  • Assisting with meeting room preparation and hospitality arrangements.
  • Providing administrative support to the wider business as required.
  • Supporting the Legal Support Team with various administrative and operational tasks.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house or customer-facing role.
  • Exceptional telephone manner and communication skills.
  • Experience within an administrative or office support position.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
  • Professional, approachable and confident when dealing with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective when working under pressure.
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
  • A positive, enthusiastic and "can-do" attitude.
  • A genuine pride in delivering outstanding service and maintaining high standards.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience within a law firm or legal administrative environment.
  • Previous experience working within a call centre environment.

Location

This is a full-time, permanent onsite role based at our Head Office in Oswestry. All applicants must be able to reliably commute.
