Role Overview
We are looking for a friendly, organised and compassionate Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our busy Gloucester Women's Centre. This is a varied role where you'll play a key part in creating a warm and professional environment for clients, visitors and partner agencies, while providing essential administrative support to the wider team.
Salary: £24,500 - £25,500 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Location: Gloucester Women's Centre, Gloucester
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients, visitors and professionals to the Women's Centre, ensuring a professional and supportive first impression
- Manage incoming telephone calls, emails and enquiries, directing them appropriately and taking accurate messages
- Maintain accurate visitor, client and staff records, ensuring confidentiality and data security at all times
- Provide administrative support including data entry, meeting minute-taking and management of correspondence
- Support the day-to-day running of the centre, including health and safety checks, stock management and facilities coordination
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure the smooth operation of services and events

Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of people
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload effectively
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, email systems and databases
- High levels of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
- A flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- GCSE-level education (or equivalent) and a commitment to supporting the values and mission of The Nelson Trust
