Temporary Receptionist /Administrator – Office Based - Central London - £22-£23/hour – c3 months assignment – October 26-Jan 27

Are you an experienced Receptionist / Front of House professional? Do you have excellent communication skills and experience working with MS Office? Are you happy with an in-office role (with a fabulous team)? Are you available from October 26 – end of January 2027 and able to commit to a full time, office based assignment?

Then this could be the temp role for you!

We are looking for an experienced Receptionist / Front of House Administrator to join our client, a financial services company based in stunning offices in Central London, starting in October and working until the end of January 2027.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering all inbound / switchboard calls promptly and professionally, relaying messages and screening and directing calls
  • Meeting and greeting clients and visitors
  • Providing a professional front of house service at all times
  • Issuing access cards to employees and visitors and managing booking system
  • Preparing and providing refreshments for meetings and ordering lunches when required
  • Arranging couriers and receiving parcels
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail
  • Ordering stationery and office consumables
  • Providing office administration support to team members including assistance with processing expenses and coordinating travel arrangements
  • Liaising with Building Maintenance when required and supporting facilities team to ensure the smooth running of the office as a whole
  • Ensuring the reception area and meeting rooms are kept tidy
  • And more.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Receptionist / Front of House Administrator, ideally in a professional services environment
  • Impeccable communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels confidently and professionally
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highest degree of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Team player
  • IT literate including MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel essential)
  • Available from October and able to commit to until the end of January 2027
  • Ability to provide 2 written references
  • Happy to work in-office Monday-Friday, 9am-5.30pm
