Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Receptionist role based in Manchester. The Receptionist will be responsible for:

  • Greeting visitors
  • Answering and directing phone calls
  • Managing incoming mail and deliveries
  • Maintaining a tidy reception area

The role includes:

  • Scheduling meeting rooms
  • Supporting basic administrative and clerical tasks
  • Coordinating with building management and tenants to address day-to-day queries

The Receptionist will also provide customer service to tenants and guests, ensuring a professional and friendly first point of contact for Castlefield Estates.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

  • Strong Phone Etiquette and Receptionist Duties skills, including handling calls, greeting visitors, and managing front desk operations.
  • Solid Clerical Skills, such as filing, data entry, mail handling, and basic office administration.
  • Excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written communication with tenants, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Robust Customer Service skills, with the ability to remain professional, courteous, and solution-focused in all interactions.

Additional beneficial qualifications include:

  • Prior experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role
  • Familiarity with office software (e.g., email, calendars, spreadsheets)
  • Strong time management
  • The ability to multitask in a busy environment

Experience in property management, coworking spaces, or hospitality is an advantage.
