Location: Seaham Hall, County Durham

Salary: £26,436.80 per year + share of monthly service charge (approx. £2,000 annually)

Hours: 40 hours per week (full-time), including weekends and bank holidays

Shift Times: Earliest start 7:45am | Latest finish 10:30pm

The Role

As a Receptionist, you’ll be the welcoming face of Seaham Hall — the first smile our guests see and the lasting impression they remember. Working closely with the Reception and Reservations teams, you’ll ensure every guest journey is seamless, personal, and infused with the warmth that defines our brand.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum one year of experience in a customer-facing role (hospitality experience a bonus).
  • A genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and professional presentation.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office; prior PMS knowledge is a plus (training provided).
  • A team player with initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • Reliable transport, given early starts and late finishes.
