Job Title: Receptionist (Front of House)
Location: London, EC4M
Hourly Pay Rate: £15.00
Contract: 4 October 2026 – 18 December 2026
Part-Time: Tuesday to Thursday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (Flexibility required for events and business needs)
We are currently seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist (Front of House) to join a dynamic corporate office environment in central London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced receptionist or hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing setting and is passionate about delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and guests, providing a warm and professional welcome.
- Manage front-of-house and reception services within a corporate office environment.
- Coordinate internal and external meeting room bookings and maintain ownership of room schedules.
- Ensure meeting rooms, video conferencing facilities, communal spaces, and client-facing areas are always maintained to a high standard.
- Support room setups, including arranging furniture and preparing spaces for meetings and events.
- Monitor room status and ensure spaces are ready ahead of scheduled bookings.
- Provide information on available facilities and accompany visitors on office tours when required.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external visitors.
- Support the wider workplace and client services teams with ad hoc administrative and operational tasks.
- Maintain awareness of business activities and communicate relevant updates across teams.

Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within a corporate reception, front-of-house, workplace, concierge, or luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Professional and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent telephone manner and administrative capabilities.
- Good IT and computer literacy skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Calm and composed under pressure with strong problem-solving skills.
- Flexible, proactive, and team-oriented approach.
- Professional presentation and a positive, approachable personality.

Additional Information
- Contract role through December 2026.
- Office-based position in Central London.
- Some flexibility may be required to support business events and client requirements.
- Notice period: Maximum 2 weeks preferred.
