We are looking for a warm, professional, and service-minded Front of House Receptionist to create an exceptional first impression within a premium commercial office building.
This is a highly visible role where you will be the face of the building, welcoming tenants, visitors, and contractors, maintaining a polished reception environment, and helping to create a positive and lasting impression for everyone who uses the building.
You will work independently on site, with support from LAH Property Marketing and the Building Management team. - Taking ownership of the reception area so it remains organised, presentable, and welcoming;
- Supporting the smooth running of reception, including visitors, contractors, deliveries, and couriers;
- Dealing confidently with competing priorities at reception;
- Preparing refreshments for guests where required;
- Supporting routine tenant or building queries and directing issues to the right person;

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
