Namaste Lounge
Namaste Lounge is a busy 300+ cover restaurant looking for an experienced Receptionist Manager to take ownership of our reservations, front desk and guest arrival experience.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is confident managing a high-volume reservation book, busy waitlists, walk-ins and table availability during fast-paced services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the reservation book across phone, online and reservation platforms
- Maximise bookings and fill cancellations and available time slots
- Manage walk-ins and busy waitlists efficiently
- Coordinate table allocations and turn times with the restaurant floor and kitchen
- Handle late arrivals, overbookings, guest queries and complaints professionally
- Chase booking confirmations, deposits and pre-orders
- Maintain accurate guest notes, allergies and special requests
- Lead and support the reception/host team
- Provide clear cover forecasts and handovers to management and the kitchen

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience managing reservations in a busy, high-volume restaurant
- Experience handling a busy waitlist and restaurant front desk
- Confident using SevenRooms or a similar reservation system
- Calm, organised and decisive under pressure
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and manner
- Commercial awareness with a focus on maximising covers and reducing empty tables
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and peak trading periods
- Right to work in the UK

Experience managing a 300+ cover restaurant or similar high-volume venue is strongly preferred.
