Job Opportunity: Pooled Receptionist in Maternity and Obstetrics Department
We are looking to recruit a pooled receptionist within the Maternity and Obstetrics department here at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital. This is a permanent contract, which will require flexibility in working pattern to ensure the service is covered 7 days a week and could involve working any time in a 24-hour period. You will be required to support all of our reception teams across the department which includes wards and outpatient reception areas.
Role Overview
The post holder will provide a high-quality reception and support service within an inpatient and outpatient setting and as such, will need to be able to communicate well with patients and their relatives, the public and a wide range of multi-professional staff, internal and external to the Trust. To provide a support service to the technical staff, a versatile approach is essential and the ability to cope with a large number of different tasks simultaneously is a prerequisite of this post. If you are highly organised, methodical in your approach, enjoy patient contact and working within a team then we can offer you a varied and exciting role where you will play a big part in making a difference for our patients.
