About The Role

A Receptionist & Office Administrator (Part-Time) is sought for a technology firm in Covent Garden, London. This part-time, hybrid contract spans three days weekly: Monday remote, Tuesday and Thursday office based. Pay ranges from £16,200 to £19,800 yearly, pro rata. Duties cover greeting visitors, managing calls and correspondence, plus general administrative support such as scheduling, filing and supplies. The Opportunity

We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist & Office Administrator to become an integral part of a busy and welcoming office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their role, takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a key role in ensuring the office operates smoothly while providing administrative support across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative and secretarial support to the wider team.
  • Managing incoming calls and handling reception duties.
  • Welcoming visitors and ensuring a positive front-of-house experience.
  • Managing meeting room bookings and preparing rooms for meetings.
  • Coordinating deliveries, couriers, and incoming post.
  • Ordering and maintaining stationery, office supplies, and kitchen stock.
  • Maintaining office filing systems and records.
  • Supporting the organisation of company events and meetings.
  • Liaising with building management regarding maintenance and repairs.
  • Assisting with facilities and compliance-related administrative tasks.
  • Recording company purchases and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Providing occasional support to senior leadership teams when required.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within a reception, HR administration, office administration, or customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • A warm, professional, and welcoming manner.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude.
