Title: Receptionist

Location: Leatherhead

Salary: up to £28500 per annum

40 hours per week - Monday to Friday

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Receptionist with a background in exceptional reception services to join our business and work at one of our friendly office locations.

Corporate Receptionist

Salary: £28500

Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00

Permanent position

Our client is a well-known motor manufacturing company who are looking for a professional, welcoming and experienced Corporate Receptionist to join their head office based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

We are looking for someone with a friendly and approachable manner who can always remain professional, displaying sound communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate needs to be IT literate with the ability to prioritise your own workload and work efficiently to agreed deadlines. You will be working alongside one other part-time receptionist so it is important to work well as a team, as well as be confident to work alone.

Responsibilities

  • Being the first point of contact in person and via email and telephone.
  • Ensuring the reception area is kept welcoming and tidy.
  • Greeting all clients and their guests and issuing visitor and staff passes.
  • Dealing with queries from staff, guests, retailers and contractors.
  • Assisting with the booking and management of meeting rooms.
  • Coordinating bi-weekly car valet service and pool car bookings.
  • Ensuring the post room is kept stocked, tidy and organised.
  • Manage incoming/outgoing mail and parcels.
  • Escalating any building issues reported to reception and liaising with contractors.
  • Administration duties.

In addition the successful candidate will be involved in supporting the Chef Manager with admin duties. Assisting with marketing and data entry.

Part of the duties for reception is ensuring the foyer tea point and coffee machine is stocked sufficiently and maintained daily.

Qualifications

  • Naturally warm, bubbly personality with exceptional people skills and the ability to build rapport quickly and leave a lasting impression
  • Proven Ability to multitask effectively, juggling multiple priorities whilst maintaining composure and organisation
  • Strong communication skills, including excellent phone etiquette and professional written communication
  • Proficiency with basic IT systems, including email, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Desirable experience in a customer-facing or reception role within a corporate environment
  • Excellent time keeping and organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm, efficient, and solution-focused when managing challenging situations
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and flexibility in adapting to changing workplace needs
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion
  • Inclusive mindset with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organisation
  • Desirable: Experience with visitor management systems or reception software
