Company Description

Palé Hall, a distinguished AA Five Red Star country house hotel set within the breathtaking landscape of Snowdonia, is seeking a polished, confident and articulate Receptionist to join our Front of House team.

With significant growth and investment planned across the Estate in the coming months, this is an exciting time to join Palé Hall and become part of the next chapter in our story.

The Role

Our Receptionists are at the heart of the guest journey. As one of the first people our guests meet on arrival, you will play an important role in creating an exceptional first impression and ensuring that every aspect of their stay is handled with warmth, professionalism and attention to detail.

From welcoming and checking in guests to assisting with requests, processing departures and liaising with colleagues across the hotel, you will represent the standards and values of Palé Hall throughout every interaction.

We are strengthening our Front of House team with an additional full-time colleague, working five eight-hour shifts per week. The department operates two reception shifts each day between 7.00am and 10.00pm, and flexibility is essential to work a combination of early and late shifts, including weekends.

About You

This role would suit someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering thoughtful, attentive service.

You will be naturally welcoming and composed, with the confidence to engage comfortably with guests while maintaining the discretion and professionalism expected within a luxury hotel environment.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Immaculate personal presentation and a professional manner
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confidence and warmth when engaging with guests
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to remain composed in a busy environment
  • Competent IT and administrative skills
  • A flexible and positive approach to working as part of a team
  • Previous hospitality experience, with a minimum of one year in a similar role preferred

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
