Job Introduction
We are currently looking for a permanent Site Assistant / Receptionist to join our friendly team at Dunbar Cement Plant.
This role is site based 5 days per week, Monday to Friday on a part-time basis of 22 hours per week.
We are looking to hear from candidates who could work the following pattern:
- Monday 7:45am - 3:45pm
- Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 1:00pm - 3:45pm
- Friday 7:45am - 3:30pm
Role Responsibility
In the role of Site Assistant / Receptionist you will be responsible for:
- Being the first point of contact for the site at Dunbar; this will include welcoming visitors and conducting basic checks
- Ensuring induction for all visitors and compliance with site security procedures
- General office administration and support for site
- Supporting with administration of projects and initiatives
- Organising and supporting the provision of training
- Providing ad hoc support to the wider site as required
- Contributing to and supporting the health and safety culture onsite, including being an ambassador
- Maintenance of records, long-service awards, organising and supporting health surveillance on site.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the role of Site Assistant / Receptionist will have experience in a similar role as well as experience of:
- Excellent IT skills (MS Office)
- General administration experience
- Knowledge of a fast-moving working environment
- Working independently
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Organisational and prioritisation skills with attention to detail
- Problem solving and trouble shooting skills
