Position: Receptionist (Holiday cover)

Location: Buckinghamshire, HP10 9QR
Hours: Mon–Fri 8am–5pm
Duration: Holiday Cover – 19th October - 26th October and 17th November to 30th November

Role Summary

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and reliable Receptionist to provide holiday cover at our front desk. This is a front-facing role requiring excellent communication skills, strong organizational ability, and a willingness to help with light physical tasks around the office.

Key Responsibilities

Front of House

  • Greet visitors, staff, and couriers in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Act as the first point of contact for anyone entering the building
  • Handle general enquiries in person, by MS Teams, and via email

Communication

  • Respond promptly to Microsoft Teams messages and emails
  • Relay messages accurately to the relevant staff members
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of people

Meeting Room Management

  • Book meeting rooms via the booking system as requested
  • Set up meeting rooms ahead of use (chairs, equipment, refreshments as needed)
  • Reset/tidy rooms after meetings conclude
