Job Opportunity at The Peninsula London

The Peninsula London is delighted to announce that we are seeking a Receptionist (Full Time or Casual) to work within our Lobby Restaurant, responsible for welcoming and seating all guests, reporting to the restaurant manager. The Peninsula Hotels are renowned for the Lobby experience, with live music, a luxurious setting, and food and beverage service at the highest level, which our guests have become accustomed to and that is synonymous with our brand. With a passion for service and a friendly and approachable demeanor, this position is instrumental in coordinating and managing this busy environment whilst ensuring a calm and exceptional guest experience.

Key Accountabilities

  • Welcoming and seating guests, handling all calls and confirming reservations as well as coordinating and handling the busy environment.
  • A great communicator, taking on all guest feedback and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily and communicated to the Lobby Manager.
  • Have knowledge of the Food and Beverage menu.
  • Establish and maintain positive guest and colleague interactions with productive working relationships.

General Requirements

  • Proven track record of understanding an all-day dining restaurant and good knowledge of restaurant operations.
  • Previous experience preferred and hospitality studies desirable.
  • Friendly and positive with a flexible approach and ability to work under pressure.
