Receptionist (Workplace Ambassador)

Location: London

We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Receptionist to join our team in London. As the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and callers, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming, seamless, and memorable experience for everyone entering the workplace.

What You'll Be Doing

As Receptionist, You Will

  • Deliver a first-class customer service experience to building occupants, visitors, and guests.
  • Meet, greet, and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Manage visitor registration, host notifications, and visitor access processes.
  • Issue visitor passes and communicate site health, safety, and evacuation procedures.
  • Maintain an immaculate and professional reception environment at all times.
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and visitor inductions.
  • Arrange taxis and transportation requests through approved suppliers.
  • Support the Facilities Management team with general administrative duties.
  • Complete daily activity reports, logs, and operational checklists.
  • Assist guests with luggage and storage arrangements when required.
  • Provide local area information, directions, travel updates, and general assistance.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and customer-focused workplace environment.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer service, receptionist, front-of-house, hospitality, or similar client-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and various business systems.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology and software platforms.
  • A professional and confident approach with a strong customer-service mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive and flexible attitude.
  • Experience using booking, reservation, or resource management systems is desirable.
  • Ability to build rapport and remember visitors and regular stakeholders.
