Receptionist

Blue Legal is partnering with a leading UK law firm to recruit a Receptionist to join its Front of House team in Cardiff. The successful candidate will provide a professional and welcoming service to clients and visitors, while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the firm's reception and client meeting areas.

Working Hours

8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch and there is a competitive benefits package on offer.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients, guests, and visitors to the office, providing a professional, friendly, and efficient front-of-house service.
  • Notify relevant colleagues of client and visitor arrivals, ensuring guests are looked after throughout their time at the office.
  • Arrange and serve refreshments for client meetings, events, and other functions as required.
  • Manage bookings for client meeting rooms, ensuring spaces are organised and prepared appropriately.
  • Maintain reception and client-facing areas to a high standard, ensuring they remain professional and presentable throughout the day.
  • Support the Business Development and Marketing team with the organisation and delivery of on-site client events.
  • Provide additional Front of House support as required, including occasional out-of-hours event assistance.

  • Previous receptionist experience, ideally within a legal or professional services environment, with a strong understanding of delivering excellent client service.
  • Professional and confident with excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to create a positive first impression.
  • Highly organised and customer-focused, with events experience advantageous and flexibility to support occasional out-of-hours functions.
