Job Title: Band 2 Receptionist (x2 Part-time Positions)

About the Role

The Women's and Children's division is looking to recruit two Band 2 Receptionists to work on a part-time basis. The posts are for 18 hours weekly.

Shift Pattern

  • Monday - Sunday

The positions cover reception at UHCW and St Cross, Rugby. It is important that you are flexible to work at either site when required.

Responsibilities

  • Cover maternity A&E reception which runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Manage a total of 7 reception areas.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for patient enquiries, ensuring a professional and polite experience.
  • Admit patients and raise case notes for newborn patients.
  • Provide a high-quality reception service ensuring efficient, professional, and prompt service delivery.
  • Provide excellent patient care, ensuring timely, relevant advice and assistance.
  • Manage all telephone calls according to departmental standards and respond appropriately.
  • Deal with all enquiries from patients, staff, and visitors in a courteous, efficient, and tactful manner.
  • Ensure that each patient is treated as an individual and their individual needs are met. Update and ensure patient demographics are current.
