About The Role
Based in Wallyford, this full-time Receptionist position offers £14.40 per hour on an ongoing temporary contract. You will serve as the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and delivering professional customer service alongside administrative duties for a busy workplace services team. Responsibilities include managing meeting room schedules, preparing spaces for use, handling incoming calls, and providing information or guidance to guests. The role demands strong organisational skills and a confident, friendly manner. Prior experience in a similar front-of-house capacity is beneficial. You will work standard full-time hours, Monday to Friday, supporting daily operations and ensuring a polished, efficient environment for all who visit the site.

About The Role
We are currently recruiting for a professional and customer-focused Receptionist & Administration Assistant to join a busy facilities and workplace services team based in East Lothian.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised individual who enjoys working in a front-facing role, providing exceptional customer service while supporting the day-to-day administration of a busy site.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome visitors and provide information, guidance, and signposting both in person and remotely.
- Manage meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are prepared for use.
- Answer, screen, and redirect incoming telephone calls.
- Maintain a tidy, professional, and welcoming reception area.
- Provide administrative support to the wider site team.
- Support office security processes, including controlling building access and following site procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple departments to deliver a high-quality service.
- Carry out general administrative duties as required.

About You
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have:
- Previous experience in a Receptionist, Front of House, Customer Service, or Administrative position.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience using general office equipment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional and approachable manner.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- The ability to work proactively and resolve issues effectively.
- A genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
