About This Role
Hours of work: 30 hrs per week
Working pattern: To be discussed at interview
Weeks worked: This is a full year position, including school holidays
This is a key front-facing role, providing an efficient reception and administrative service that supports the smooth day-to-day operation of the academy.
As the first point of contact for visitors, parents, students and colleagues, you will play an important role in creating a positive and professional impression of the academy while delivering excellent administrative support.
About The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Provide a professional and friendly reception service to visitors, parents, staff and students.
- Manage incoming telephone calls, emails and enquiries, ensuring they are dealt with promptly and effectively.
- Undertake a range of administrative duties including filing, data entry, correspondence and maintaining records.
- Support academy events, meetings and communications as required.
- Assist with student attendance, admissions and general office processes.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with academy procedures and data protection requirements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider administrative and operational functions of the academy.

About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in an administrative, reception or customer service environment.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is well organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Has good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrates professionalism, discretion and confidentiality at all times.
- Shares our commitment to supporting young people and providing excellent customer service.
