The Opportunity

Ashurst Perkins Coie appointed its first Information Governance officer in February 2024. In collaboration with the Risk & Compliance function, the role of the Records Analyst was created to assist the Records and Information Governance Specialist and Information Governance Officer to increase governance around the information we hold.

This London based role will play a crucial part in ensuring the proper management, protection, and utilisation of the Firm's information assets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of records management practices, and regulatory compliance. This role requires good analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure the effective implementation of information governance policies.

The Records Analyst will work closely with the operations and legal teams to help support our revised Information Governance Framework and supporting documentation by embedding best practice and efficient delivery of compliance across the firm with adequate tooling in place.

This is a full time role on an initial 6 month fixed term basis. The role will be based full time in our London office.

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift boxes up to 15 KG to shoulder height
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Discrete and professional in handling sensitive, confidential information
