About The Role

At Balfour Beatty, we're shaping some of the UK's most complex and nationally significant infrastructure projects. Through our partnership within the MEH Alliance at Hinkley Point C, we're helping deliver the next generation of low-carbon energy for the UK.

We are looking for a Records Technician (LTQR) to join our Nuclear Quality team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual to play a critical role in managing Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs), ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance and document control are maintained throughout project delivery.

What you'll be doing

As a Records Technician, you will support the capture, compilation and submission of discipline-specific LTQR deliverables for allocated project areas. Working closely with LTQR (Life Time Quality Records) Coordinators and project stakeholders, you will ensure quality records are accurately managed and maintained in line with project requirements and approved processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile, review and submit LTQR deliverables to ensure compliance with project and contractual requirements.
  • Manage the distribution and control of both electronic and hard-copy documentation, ensuring full end-to-end configuration control.
  • Produce document status reports and data updates to support project and quality management teams.
  • Assist with the preparation and production of LTQR handover packs.
  • Support Area LTQR Coordinators to ensure all required records are submitted for work packages in line with contractual requirements.
  • Review quality records for accuracy and completeness to support Lifetime Records and End of Erection Status Reports.
  • Ensure all LTQR management activities are carried out in accordance with approved procedures and processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
