Reading | Full Time | 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

We're looking for an Outreach Recovery Champion to join our Reading service, helping people take their first steps towards recovery and supporting them to build lives that are healthier, safer and more fulfilling.
The post-holder will work with service users initiating, building, and utilising recovery capital to move into long term sustained recovery. This will be achieved by working with service users, supporting, and delivering pods or one to one intervention as required.
The post-holder will be required to work flexibly across all sites within an agreed number of hours to maintain the most appropriate level of service provision. This will include evening and weekend working.
Location: Reading
Contract: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
Hours: 37.5 per week
Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
Responsibilities
What you'll be doing
- Supporting people to build and sustain recovery capital and achieve long-term recovery
- Delivering one-to-one interventions, recovery coaching and group-based support
- Engaging people who are rough sleeping or at risk of homelessness and supporting them towards settled accommodation
- Promoting visible recovery and strengthening links with mutual aid and recovery communities
- Working alongside partner organisations to create integrated pathways of support
- Encouraging service user involvement and ensuring people's voices influence service delivery
- Acting as a positive role model, demonstrating that recovery and positive change are possible
