Recovery Claims Handler

Location: Remote

Payrate: £13.39 per hr. via PAYE

Working Days & hrs: 40hrs per week (Monday - Friday, 08:30-17:00 (1 hour unpaid lunch break))

Contract: 3 Month (Possibility of extension)

Job Description Summary

As a Recovery Claims Handler you will be committed to provide our customers with a world-class claims service by ensuring that their claims are assessed quickly and services monitored effectively to support them in their claim journey.

You will be responsible for monitoring a portfolio of active hires on non-fault claims, ensuring that all duration is justified whilst keeping our customers updated and maintaining all expectations. You will need to liaise with repairers, underwriting insurers and third-party insurers to ensure a successful recovery of all claims costs.

Responsibilities

  • Keeping customers updated on progression of their vehicle damage claim and hire car.
  • Ensuring hire durations are managed in a way which is able to be justified, both in duration and through accurate recording of information.
  • Liaising with repairs and insurers on the progress of vehicle damage and provision of hire car.
  • Recording accurately your management of active hire to recovery all Accident Assist costs.
  • Validating all relevant cover is in force for a claim and identifying possible fraudulent claim markers to be referred for investigation.
  • Treating our customers fairly and ensure that the customer receives world class customer service in according with industry and professional guidelines.
  • Supporting cost, service and process efficiency projects across the team, as well as having the opportunity to get involved in departmental projects.
