Service Care Solutions is working in partnership with a well-established non-profit organisation to recruit an experienced Recovery Worker.

In this role, you will provide compassionate, person-centred support to individuals experiencing challenges related to drug and alcohol misuse. Working collaboratively with service users, you will help promote recovery, improve overall wellbeing, and empower individuals to make positive, sustainable changes. Through tailored support, guidance, and targeted interventions, you will help service users work towards achieving their personal goals and long-term recovery outcome.

Role: Recovery Coordinator

Rate:

  • £18.14 to £20.62 per hour (PAYE exc.)
  • £20.15 to £23 per hour (Umbrella/Ltd)

Location: Warwick, Warwickshire

Working: 5 days per week. 37.5 hours.

Contract: 6 months ongoing

Role Overview:

  • Hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service.
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments to identify and understand the individual needs of service users.
  • Provide ongoing support, guidance, and encouragement from initial referral through every stage of the recovery journey.
  • Complete screening assessments and develop personalised recovery plans that reflect each service user’s individual needs and goals.
  • Deliver effective one-to-one interventions and facilitate engaging group recovery sessions.
  • Demonstrate previous experience working within the substance misuse, addiction, or related support sector.
  • Have a strong understanding of the physical, mental health, and social issues associated with substance misuse.
  • Possess experience in key working, case management, and developing person-centred care and recovery plans.
