Recovery Coordinator
Location: HAGA Seven Sisters
Working Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £28,487- £34,730 per annum
About the Role
As a key member of the Haringey Recovery Service (HRS), you will manage a caseload of adult service users receiving recovery support within community settings. The role involves working both from the main office at HAGA/HRS, 590 Seven Sisters Road, and out in the community.
You will deliver person-centred, evidence-based interventions to support individuals accessing care for:
- Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST)
- Alcohol use
- Non-opiate substance use
- Combined alcohol and non-opiate needs
This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in improving health outcomes and supporting individuals throughout their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver structured one-to-one support and harm minimisation advice
- Develop and review personalised recovery plans
- Facilitate and run group sessions within the service and wider community
- Empower service users to set and achieve recovery goals safely
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with GPs, healthcare professionals, and wider social care networks
- Work alongside community partners to support access to additional services beyond appointments
- Support and engage volunteers and peer support workers
To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need
Essential
- A strong passion for supporting individuals through recovery
- Ability to build positive, professional relationships with service users and stakeholders
- Experience delivering person-centred or tailored interventions
- Strong communication and motivational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
- A community-focused, inclusive approach to practice

Desirable
- Experience working within substance misuse services or similar support roles
- Knowledge of harm reduction approaches and recovery models
- Experience facilitating group sessions or workshops
- Understanding of partnership working across health and social care services

Please note: The salary listed reflects the full earning potential for this role. Starting salaries depend on experience and progression within the band.
