Recovery Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Recovery Coordinator who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.

Salary
Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
Responsibilities
- Working as part of the single point of contact team which is a Nottinghamshire team based in Mansfield.
- Ensuring that change grow live’s values are at the heart of everything we all do, through values based decision making and leadership.
- Engaging people who have substance misuse problems and providing them with advice, support, and recovery focused structured clinical interventions to support their recovery and primary health care needs.
- Carrying out triages, comprehensive service user assessments, and developing individual recovery plans that clearly identify how achieving each goal will enable progression in addressing substance use, re/integrating into the community when required.
- Ensuring excellent customer service to people who contact us and ensuring everyone works in the ethos of “no wrong door” and a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Ensuring the timely and accurate collection, recording, and reporting of specified data.
- Being creative and innovative so that the post best meets the needs of the service user, promoting access into treatment, and continued engagement with underrepresented communities.
- Working with your team and Designated Safeguarding Lead (if not your role) to ensure that the practices within the service enable identification of service users, children, and families who are at risk. Ensure you are competent in the delivery of interventions that reduce risk to service users.
- Ensuring that all aspects of confidentiality are adhered to and that consent to share information is a key element to building trusting therapeutic alliances.
- Supporting the smooth running of the service by contributing to tasks such as reception, duty cover, and clinical duties on an ad hoc basis.
- Assisting and carrying out appropriate screening processes including DBST, urine, and saliva tests, after completion of appropriate training or demonstration of relevant experience.
- Carrying out key harm reduction strategies such as running of the Needle Exchange and distribution of Naloxone, after completion of appropriate training or demonstration of relevant experience.

About You
- Excellent team working and interpersonal skills, maintaining a highly cooperative approach to supporting colleagues in delivering service objectives.
- Experience of working with substance misuse service and excellent knowledge of Harm Reduction principles.
- Knowledge and experience of delivering services which evidence high performance and quality standards.
- Accomplished written and verbal communication skills and a high degree of personal IT competency. The ability to accurately update and maintain records in a timely fashion and to work to deadlines for the submission of information, e.g., reports.
- Experience and knowledge of the working practice of Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults.
- Excellent time management skills, and an ability to work on your own initiative, prioritizing accordingly.
- Experience of positively engaging with people who use services.
- Ability to manage change successfully in a way that prioritises the needs of service users.
- Excellent team working, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to identify emerging themes and trends and work collaboratively with people to respond to these.
- Ability to communicate complex information to individuals and groups in a way that is easily understood.
- Responsibility for your own health, safety, and wellbeing as well as those around you (e.g., colleagues and service users).
- An understanding of and commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion best practice with a particular focus on engagement with hard to reach and marginalised service users.
- Excellent IT skills and ability to understand the purpose of systems.
