About the Role
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Recovery Coordinator or Recovery Worker with strong substance misuse experience to join a busy service and support people through their recovery journey.
Hours
- 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week)
Dates
- 1 month ASAP 1 month (Temporary Contract, will be reviewed after 1 month and potentially extended)
Location
- Fleetwood, Lancashire
Pay Rate
- £18/hr PAYE or £21 umbrella
Your New Role
As a Recovery Coordinator, you will deliver a range of evidence-based interventions to support service users throughout their treatment journey. You will work collaboratively with clinical and safeguarding teams to ensure each individual receives a safe, holistic, and person-centred service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and throughout their treatment and recovery journey
- Completing screening, assessments, recovery planning, and onward referrals
- Helping to reduce drug and alcohol-related harm for service users and the wider community
- Supporting service users with social reintegration, recovery, resilience, and self-determination
- Promoting involvement from service users, carers, and the wider community
- Working in partnership with internal teams, external agencies, and other professionals
- Providing advocacy and supporting access to partnership services where required
- Delivering person-centred support in a safe, respectful, and professional manner

To Be Considered
- Previous experience working in substance misuse services
- A good understanding of recovery planning, risk, safeguarding, and harm reduction
- Strong communication and engagement skills
- Confidence working with service users with complex needs
- The ability to work collaboratively with professionals, services, and external partners
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your caseload effectively
- A compassionate, non-judgemental, and person-centred approach
