Our mission is to empower individuals to rebuild their lives and achieve independence. Right now, we are looking for a Recovery Worker to play a pivotal role in our Ealing Mental Health Service.
Sounds great, what will I be doing?
As a Recovery Worker, you will provide person-centred support to adults with complex mental health needs who may be at risk of homelessness. Working closely with service users, you will empower individuals to manage their wellbeing, build independence, and work towards achieving their personal goals through tailored support plans that are co-produced and regularly reviewed.
- You will manage a caseload of service users, helping them to access appropriate services, community resources, education, volunteering opportunities, leisure activities, and healthcare support.
- A key part of the role involves building positive working relationships with external agencies, statutory services, and community organisations to ensure service users receive coordinated support that promotes recovery and social inclusion.
- You will also facilitate group activities, encourage peer support, and create opportunities that help service users develop confidence, resilience, and meaningful social networks.
- Alongside this, you will actively monitor the safety, wellbeing, and progress of service users, responding appropriately to concerns and ensuring that support is delivered in line with safeguarding procedures, organisational standards, and recovery-focused practices.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will contribute to maintaining a safe, supportive, and high-quality service that enables people to build brighter and more stable futures.

What do I need to bring with me?
To be successful in this role, you will have experience of supporting people with mental health needs in either a paid or voluntary capacity and an understanding of the challenges they may face. You will have knowledge of recovery-focused approaches and mental health legislation, alongside the ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with individuals from a range of backgrounds. You will be a compassionate, non-judgemental, and solution-focused individual with strong organisational and IT skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team. An understanding of safeguarding, the ability to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally, and a genuine belief in people's ability to make positive changes in their lives are essential for this role.
