Location: United Kingdom (Remote)
Duration: 7 months 8 days (End Date: 30th June 27)
Pay Range: £204/day to £230/day (PAYE)
Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
Role Summary
This is a recruiter position focused on hiring students and recent graduates across EMEA for Microsoft's Early in Career programs. The recruiter will manage candidates from application through offer, conduct first-round interviews, coordinate assessment centers, support internship/apprenticeship programs, and ensure an excellent candidate experience. The role requires a recruiter who can work independently, manage high hiring volumes, engage stakeholders across countries, and successfully close candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Management
- Review applications and shortlist qualified candidates
- Conduct first-round screening interviews
- Assess candidate fit and motivation
Hiring Process Ownership
- Manage the recruitment lifecycle from application to offer
- Coordinate interview schedules and hiring activities
- Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience
Assessment Centres & Events
- Organize and facilitate assessment centers
- Support campus and Early in Career recruiting events
- Evaluate candidate performance and provide feedback
Offer Management
- Prepare and extend offers
- Conduct offer negotiations
- Drive candidate acceptance and closing activities

- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders
- Align on hiring plans and candidate quality expectations
- Provide market insights and hiring updates
Compliance & Market Awareness
- Understand local employment regulations
- Support visa/work authorization considerations
- Monitor talent market trends and competitor activity
Program Delivery
- Support intern, apprentice, graduate, and Microsoft Research hiring programs
- Help deliver a strong internship/apprenticeship experience
Must-Have Skills
Recruiting Experience
- Full-cycle recruiting experience
- Candidate screening and interviewing experience
- Offer management and candidate closing experience
Early Careers Hiring
- University recruiting, graduate recruiting, intern recruiting, or apprenticeship recruiting experience
Interviewing Skills
- Ability to conduct competency-based interviews
- Assess candidate capability and fit effectively
Stakeholder Management
- Experience partnering with hiring managers
- Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority
Program Coordination
- Experience running recruiting events, hiring campaigns, assessment days, or internship programs
Communication
- Strong verbal and written English
- Comfortable presenting to groups and leading virtual sessions
Tools
- ATS experience (Workday, SuccessFactors, Greenhouse, Taleo, Avature, etc.)
- Microsoft Office proficiency

Pay Rate Range
£204 - £230 GBP daily
