About The Role

We are currently seeking a Temporary Internal Recruiter to join our team on a rolling three-month contract basis. Based in Exeter, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, supporting the full recruitment cycle for one of our nationwide clients. As an Internal Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in attracting top talent, managing candidate pipelines, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. Your efforts will directly contribute to the success of our client's hiring objectives and help strengthen their employer brand. This position is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a passion for recruitment and excellent communication skills, who is eager to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in in-house or agency recruitment, demonstrating a solid understanding of the full-cycle recruitment process. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills are essential, along with the ability to build trust and rapport with stakeholders at all levels. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing strategies, particularly platforms like LinkedIn, is required. A valid driving license is mandatory, as the role involves visiting various sites within the area. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently are also important. A proactive attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality results are key attributes for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand detailed job requirements, qualification criteria, and develop effective hiring strategies.
  • Create engaging and compelling job postings to attract suitable candidates across various platforms, including social networks and relevant job boards.
  • Maintain and update active talent databases, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Source candidates through multiple channels, including online platforms, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Screen CVs, conduct telephone and competency-based interviews, and coordinate further interview stages with hiring managers.
  • Track recruitment KPIs, prepare progress reports, and analyze data to continually improve recruitment strategies.
  • Proactively reach out to potential candidates via phone calls and email campaigns to build a strong talent pool.
  • Support depot activities by hosting and assisting during recruitment open days and events.
  • Coordinate administrative tasks such as booking meetings, managing candidate onboarding, and ensuring a seamless recruitment process.
  • Assist with site visits and maintain positive relationships with candidates and stakeholders throughout the recruitment journey.
