Role Description

The role forms part of the Global Talent Acquisition team and reports to a Global Recruitment Manager. Based in Manchester.

As a recruiter you will be responsible for helping to execute the talent acquisition strategy and delivering external hiring results across Trips and CS (inclusive of non cs agent hiring), for both The UK and NL.

Partnering closely with the Global Recruitment Manager, HR colleagues, and business stakeholders, you will drive high-quality hiring outcomes, maintain strong alignment, and ensure timely communication across the recruitment lifecycle.

Managing a diverse portfolio of requisitions across various levels and locations, you will bring adaptability, drive, and a commitment to delivering top talent on schedule to support the Trips BU and CS department.

Typically, the type of reqs worked on will be broad and include but not be limited to commercial, customer service, operations, product and tech.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support the delivery of the external talent acquisition strategies for the UK and The Netherlands
  • Recruit great talent across a broad range of job profiles for our Trips and CS department.
  • Act as a talent advisor by identifying appropriate stakeholders for hiring needs and providing outstanding guidance to hiring managers and interview teams to shape talent requirements that best match the needs of Booking.com and the external market.
  • Demonstrate credibility and sound judgment when partnering with stakeholders, with the ability to understand role requirements, assess talent markets and support hiring processes with confidence.
  • Gather market data and talent landscape insights for Hiring Managers to support and influence hiring strategies and decision-making, and stay informed on market trends, competitor activity and recruiting practices, particularly across technical talent markets.
  • Act as a Brand Ambassador, builds talent networks and activates knowledgeable industry sources to develop and generate an ongoing pool of candidates through a diverse mix of channels.
  • Be proactive in achieving hiring targets through an effective, inclusive and high-quality selection process.
  • Manage pre-closing and closing activities with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Follow global guidelines to ensure consistency and alignment of all TA products, tools, services and initiatives.
  • Use AI tooling to help improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Recruitment experience in a fast paced environment, ideally across tech, service or similar industries.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering both high-volume recruitment and specialist sourced hiring.
  • Credible and confident when partnering with stakeholders, with the ability to understand role requirements and navigate talent markets.
  • Strong negotiation skills with proven ability to manage pre-closing and closing conversations successfully.
  • Passionate about Talent Acquisition and committed to delivering high-quality hiring outcomes.
  • Solution-oriented, results-driven, proactive and flexible in approach.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage complex operational processes and multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong work ethic; self-directed, resourceful and able to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, including fluent English and the ability to influence, advise and build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers and cross-functional partners.
  • Demonstrates personal accountability, sound judgment and integrity.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with a strong focus on team spirit, partnership and knowledge sharing.
  • Inquisitive and curious
