About The Role
The Recruiter brings the recruitment process to life with proactive communication, forward thinking, and the desire to really learn and understand the business areas you support. You are seen as a "go-to" for the hiring leaders on all things talent acquisition and truly facilitate a clearly defined process.
You will utilize a range of internal and external tools and resources to identify and attract top talent, applying a creative and solutions-focused approach to each search.

In this role, you will collaborate with hiring leaders across World Wide Technology to source, assess, and advise on high-quality candidates. The primary focus will be recruiting for sales and operations roles within our UK offices, a critical hub in our EMEA business.
Key Responsibilities
- Helps drive the company's overall recruiting efforts, which include on-site recruiting, internet recruiting, working with temporary agencies, and employee referrals.
- Advisory role to managers and supervisors regarding recruitment processes and initiatives.
- Takes ownership of a specific business area and is responsible for all recruiting activity.
- Recruiting for WWT's core business areas: sales, management, engineering, data center, project management, operations, supply chain, and other positions throughout the company.
- Posts jobs online, screens, organizes, and tracks all applications and resumes within the company's applicant tracking tool.
- Coordinates and conducts interviews with hiring managers.
- Understands the company's policies and benefits.
- Reviews and pre-qualifies potential candidates.
- Coordinates and conducts new hire onboarding.
- Posts jobs on various external job boards, social media, user groups, universities, etc.
- Proactively researches and evaluates new sourcing ideas and methods to create innovative sourcing strategies.
- Develops passive candidate pipelines through name generation, networking, cold calling, complex internet searches, and research.
- Develops a network of business and candidate contacts.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with active and passive candidates for current or future openings.
Qualifications
- Strong recruitment fundamentals and a proven track record of delivery, gained either within a 360-recruitment agency environment or, ideally, in-house within a technology or systems integration organization.
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and sourcing both active and passive talent.
- Considerable industry experience in sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates is required.
- Experience in the core principles, practices, and procedures related to recruiting and staffing.
- Experience in engaging with hiring managers and driving recruiting initiatives.
- Excellent organizational, follow-up, and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience with internal ATS and VMS applications preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
