Motor Dealer Internal Recruiter
Location: Solihull
Hybrid Working: 3 Days Working from Home / 2 Days in the Office
Salary: £37,000 Basic Salary

Our client is one of the region's leading privately owned automotive dealer groups, representing some of the world's most recognised automotive businesses. They are seeking a proactive and professional Internal Recruiter to support the attraction, selection, and hiring of exceptional talent across their dealership network.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiter, talent acquisition professional, or automotive industry specialist looking to play a pivotal role in supporting the continued growth and success of a highly regarded automotive business.
The Role
As the Internal Recruiter based in Solihull, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle across multiple dealerships and departments. Working closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders, you will identify staffing requirements, attract high-calibre candidates, and deliver an outstanding candidate experience from application through to onboarding.
This role offers a flexible hybrid working pattern of 3 days working from home and 2 days in the office, providing an excellent work-life balance while maintaining strong collaboration with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for a wide range of dealership and support function roles.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers and department leaders.
- Create and manage engaging job adverts across multiple recruitment platforms, including Indeed, LinkedIn, and social media channels.
- Source candidates using a variety of direct search and attraction methods.
- Screen applications, conduct interviews, and coordinate recruitment activities.
- Develop talent pipelines for future recruitment requirements.
- Support employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Produce recruitment reports and maintain accurate recruitment records.
- Support onboarding activities and help drive employee retention initiatives.
- Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and suppliers, acting as the primary point of contact for approved recruitment partners.
- Communicate vacancy requirements, candidate profiles, and hiring expectations to external recruiters.
- Monitor agency performance, ensuring quality candidate submissions, compliance, and value for money.
- Work collaboratively with external recruitment partners to support specialist and hard-to-fill vacancies whilst maintaining cost-effective recruitment practices.
- Support recruitment projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

About You
Essential
- Previous experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
- A proactive, professional, and results-driven approach.
- Strong direct sourcing and candidate attraction skills.
Desirable
- Recruitment experience within automotive, retail, or multi-site businesses.
- Knowledge of dealership operations and motor trade roles.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
- Experience recruiting high-volume and specialist positions.
