About The Role

Are you passionate about connecting people with opportunities?

Do you thrive in a fast-paced recruitment environment where every day makes an impact?

We're looking for a talented and motivated Recruiter to join our internal recruitment team, supporting Publica, our partner Councils and Ubico. In this role, you'll manage end-to-end recruitment activity, partnering with hiring managers to attract, engage and secure the talent needed to deliver vital public services.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping our workforce by recruiting directly for a diverse range of positions across local government and our partner organisations.

This is a hybrid role, with a mix of working from home and from our office in Cirencester, so you will need to live within a reasonable commuting distance.

The post is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract for maternity cover, or until the postholder returns whichever is sooner.

The hours for this role are 22.2 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. We are open to discussing some flexibility around the Wednesday working pattern, but attendance on Thursdays and Fridays is essential.

Why join us?

  • You'll be part of a friendly, proactive team that puts people at the heart of everything we do.
  • You'll get to partner with hiring managers across the business, building strong relationships and influencing the way we recruit.
  • You'll enjoy the freedom of flexible working across our Gloucestershire and West Oxfordshire offices (Cirencester, Coleford, Witney) and from home.
  • You'll have the opportunity to innovate and improve how we attract, select and retain talent.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
