Recruiter (Maternity Cover)

Location: Newton-le-Willows Head Office

Salary: £26,227.56 per annum

Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm

Start Date: October 2026

Join Kingdom Services Group as a Recruiter on an Exciting 12-Month Maternity Cover Contract!

We're looking for an organised, motivated, and people-focused Recruiter to join our busy Recruitment Team based at our Newton-le-Willows Head Office.

In this role, you'll support the full recruitment process across our Security division, from attracting and screening candidates through to coordinating interviews and onboarding successful applicants. You'll play a key role in delivering a positive candidate experience while supporting hiring managers to fill vacancies efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to develop their recruitment career.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Candidate Management

  • Monitor and manage applications for current vacancies.
  • Screen CVs and assess candidate suitability against role requirements.
  • Arrange interviews and recruitment assessments.
  • Conduct candidate interviews via video conferencing platforms.
  • Guide candidates through the recruitment process from application to onboarding.

Communication & Customer Service

  • Respond professionally and promptly to telephone and email enquiries.
  • Provide excellent support to candidates, managers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Resolve recruitment queries efficiently and professionally.
  • Accurately take and relay messages when required.

Administration & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and databases.
  • Ensure candidate information is GDPR compliant and up to date.
  • Assist with pre-employment checks, right-to-work verification, and references.
  • Prepare recruitment documentation and correspondence.

Reporting & Team Support

  • Support recruitment reporting and KPI tracking.
  • Work towards agreed recruitment targets.
  • Provide administrative support to the wider Recruitment Team.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong customer service and telephone skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Right to work in the UK and able to provide employment references.
