About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our dynamic team at B Independent Support Limited. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering personalized support services to our clients, helping them achieve greater independence and improve their overall well-being. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong sense of responsibility. The Support Worker will work closely with clients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored support plans. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent. Prior experience working in a support or care setting is preferred, although full training will be provided for the right candidate. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a compassionate approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are desirable but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Providing personalized support to clients in their daily activities, including personal care, household tasks, and community engagement.
  • Developing and reviewing individual support plans in collaboration with clients, families, and other professionals.
  • Monitoring and recording client progress, ensuring documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Promoting independence by encouraging clients to develop new skills and confidence.
  • Ensuring a safe and respectful environment, adhering to health and safety policies and safeguarding procedures.
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with clients to support their emotional and social well-being.
  • Participating in team meetings, training sessions, and supervision to maintain high standards of care.
  • Supporting clients in accessing community resources and activities to enhance their social inclusion.
