Are you an organised, people-focused administrator looking to build a career in recruitment within a professional services environment? We are working with a well-established and highly regarded UK law firm, recognised in the Legal 500 and Chambers UK, to find a Recruitment Administrator to join their friendly, close-knit HR team in Leeds.

Our client is a leading national law firm with a long-standing reputation for excellence across a broad range of specialisms, including litigation and dispute resolution, banking, corporate and commercial, construction, employment, housing, real estate and property development. They are known for their collaborative, approachable culture and for building trusted, long-term relationships with their clients. Their HR team is small, supportive and highly respected across the firm.
The role
Working closely with the Recruitment Advisor, you will be a key member of the HR team, supporting the delivery of recruitment across the firm for all roles and locations. Your responsibilities will include:

- Monitoring the recruitment inboxes, screening candidates and creating shortlists for hiring managers
- Advertising vacancies and keeping job boards, the careers page and LinkedIn up to date
- Arranging interviews and assessments, managing Teams invites and booking meeting rooms
- Liaising with recruitment agencies and hiring managers, and collating CVs and feedback
- Supporting graduate recruitment, including the Training Contract and Vacation Scheme, assessment centres and careers fairs
- Carrying out onboarding checks for new joiners, including references, DBS and right to work
- Maintaining accurate records and handling candidate data in line with GDPR
What we are looking for
- A 2:1 degree or above, or equivalent (essential)
- Competent across all MS Office applications
- Excellent administration and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail
- Confident, professional communication skills and an approachable manner in person and on the phone
- Excellent time management, able to multitask and work well under pressure
- A self-motivated, can-do attitude, comfortable working independently and knowing when to escalate
- A creative mindset with a keen eye for improvement

Prior experience in a recruitment or resourcing role focused on hiring legal or professional services candidates is advantageous but not required. Any exposure to graduate schemes, assessment centres or employer branding is also welcome.
The details
- Salary: £26,228
- Location: Leeds (office-based). You will be the first member of the HR team based in Leeds, working closely with the wider HR team, who will visit and support you regularly
- Hours: 9am to 5:30pm
- Working arrangements: five days a week in the office during the three-month probation period
- Travel: some travel to the London office will be required, along with attendance at regional Careers Fairs in Birmingham and Leeds
- Reporting into: Recruitment Advisor
