Recruitment Administrator

Location: London Road, St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex, TN37 6AY

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Recruitment Administrator to join our busy team. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent administrative skills, and is confident communicating with candidates and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering incoming telephone calls and outgoing calls
  • Provide administrative support to the office.
  • Ensure all compliance documentation is completed accurately and in line with company policies.
  • Support the full 360° recruitment process from candidate registration through to placement.
  • Liaise with nurses and healthcare professionals via telephone and email.
  • Respond to client enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Book nurses into available shifts and maintain accurate scheduling records.
  • Update and maintain recruitment databases and candidate files.
  • Assist with recruitment advertising and candidate sourcing where required.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours on-call service on a rota basis, shared with the office team.
  • Provide professional support to clients and nurses outside normal office hours, assisting with urgent staffing requirements, shift cover, and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Be able to provide support to other departments in the office.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Previous experience in recruitment administration or recruitment.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Competent using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional, reliable and proactive approach.
  • On-call rota, including evenings and weekends as scheduled.

  • Previous experience within healthcare recruitment.
