I am currently recruiting for a well-established and highly respected business based in Gateshead. Due to a busy period, they are seeking an organised and proactive Recruitment Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis for a minimum of one month.
This is an excellent opportunity for an immediately available candidate who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong administrative and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general admin support to the HR and Recruitment Team
- Advertise vacancies across various job boards and platforms
- CV sifting
- Schedule interviews and coordinate diaries for Hiring Managers
- Maintain accurate candidate records within internal systems
- Support with onboarding for successful applicants
- Monitor an email inbox and respond to all queries in a timely manner
- Communicate with candidates via telephone and email ensuring high levels of service are always delivered

About You
- Strong admin experience, ideally within recruitment, HR, or a fast-paced busy office environment
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Able to prioritise tasks and manage workloads effectively
- Professional and proactive
- Competent user of Microsoft Office
- Strong team player

Working Hours
- Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm – This role is fully office-based.
As my client is looking for a candidate to start w/c 3rd August 2026, you must be immediately available or have little to no notice.
