About the role
You will provide administrative support to the Talent Team taking responsibility for the administration tasks associated with all recruitment processes together with maintenance of all documentation, filing and updating HR information systems.
Job Details
Recruitment and Selection
- Perform administrative tasks associated with the recruitment and selection process
- Process recruitment expenses for candidates
- Assist the Talent Team with other ad-hoc duties related to recruitment and selection as required
New Starters and Deployments
- Work with to ensure that pre-employment checks take place, including references and medicals and that all other necessary paperwork is received from new staff and properly recorded and filed.
- Accurately maintain systems to monitor recruitment and new starter processes to ensure timescales are streamlined and deployment is as quick and effective as possible
- Support the Talent Team/ HRM's in arranging deployment administration as required.
- Support the Talent Team to develop and maintain an accurate and up to date list and knowledge of visa processes, timescales and requirements across MAG programmes

Administration
- Provide an efficient and effective administration service to the team, including electronic personnel files, spreadsheets and systems
- Escalate issues to Talent Partners/Head of Talent as appropriate
- Administer the recruitment inbox
- Perform a variety of cyclical (monthly, quarterly etc.) administrative tasks as required
- Provide administrative support to any other HR project work or initiatives.
- Ensure MAG's standards related to data protection and confidentiality of information are followed at all times
Information Systems and Payroll
- Support as required with MAG monthly payroll ensuring that the proper procedures are followed and deadlines are met
Requirements
Essential Experience
- Experience providing appropriate and efficient customer service
- Experience of prioritising work to manage competing deadlines
- Experience of working with confidential information

- Excellent organisational skills

- 25 days annual leave per year pro- rata (increasing with service) plus public holidays

- Working hours - 30 hours across 5 days (to be arranged around core working hours 10.00 - 14.00)
- Contract - Fixed Term 6 months
The starting salary will be £26,232, pro-rated to a 30 hour working week.
