RECRUITMENT ADVISOR

A top-tier law firm in the City is looking for a Recruitment Advisor to join its in-house recruitment function on a fixed-term contract of a minimum of 9 months.

This Recruitment Advisor role is focused on business services recruitment. It would suit someone with a background in legal recruitment - either agency-side or in-house - who understands the sector and can operate with genuine credibility and gravitas across the business.

  • Salary: c£50,000
  • Location: City of London
  • Hours: Full time
  • Contract: Fixed-term contract, minimum 9 months, with growth opportunities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE RECRUITMENT ADVISOR

  • Managing recruitment across a range of business services roles
  • Partnering with hiring managers to understand requirements and shape recruitment strategy for each role
  • Briefing and managing relationships with recruitment agencies
  • Assessing CVs and shortlisting candidates against role requirements
  • Leading and coordinating a high volume of interviews
  • Acting as a trusted, commercially-minded point of contact for hiring managers across the firm
  • Bringing subject matter expertise on the legal recruitment market to influence hiring decisions

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven recruitment experience, ideally gained within legal recruitment (agency or in-house)
  • Strong knowledge of business services recruitment specifically
  • The confidence and gravitas to be seen as the recruitment expert by hiring managers and stakeholders
  • A commercial mindset, able to balance speed, quality and business need
  • Experience running agency briefings and managing multiple agency relationships
  • Strong CV screening and candidate assessment skills
  • Comfortable managing a high volume of live roles and interviews at any one time
