Overview
Our client, an international law firm, is seeking an experienced Recruitment Advisor to manage end-to-end recruitment for a dedicated fee-earning legal division, with a wider global remit.
This role combines autonomous recruitment delivery, direct sourcing, and strategic business partnering. You will work closely with lawyers, business leaders, and wider HR teams, advising on recruitment strategy while building strong candidate pipelines and delivering an inclusive, efficient candidate experience.
Travel to other UK offices will be required when needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for fee-earning legal roles, from taking hiring briefs and developing campaigns through to screening, offers, and acceptance.
- Advise hiring partners and managers on candidate shortlists, market conditions, salaries, approvals, and recruitment best practice.
- Take ownership of candidate pipelines, including speculative applications, identifying strong potential candidates ahead of vacancies going live.
- Source and engage talent directly through LinkedIn Recruiter, talent mapping, job boards, referrals, social media, networking, and agency relationships.
- Build strong relationships with hiring teams and other internal stakeholders, providing commercially informed recruitment advice and market insight.
- Contribute to recruitment projects including applicant tracking system implementation, process design, employer branding, inclusive talent acquisition, agency reviews, and talent community management.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
