Recruitment Advisor

Department: People

Reporting To: Katie-Ann Potter

Description

The Recruitment Advisor will be responsible for helping the Recruitment Manager in end-to-end recruitment at Bognor Regis, specifically ensuring that Butlin’s attracts, selects, and hires the right people effectively and fairly. This role is key in ensuring that we recruit the very best people who are aligned with our values and behaviors. Pre-screening candidates at high volumes and ensuring all internal systems are up to date are also critical aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Recruitment (Volume Hires & Specialist Roles)
    • Manage the full recruitment cycle from vacancy approval to hired status.
    • Draft and post job adverts on Pinpoint and ensure these are advertised appropriately.
    • Screen applications, shortlist candidates, and coordinate interviews and group recruitment sessions.
    • Proactively source candidates via LinkedIn and other CV databases.
    • Provide hiring managers with advice on selection methods and interview best practice.
    • Issue offer letters and ensure candidates have all information for their first day.

  • Stakeholder Management

    • Act as the first point of contact for recruitment queries from hiring managers.
    • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand staffing needs.
    • Support managers in developing recruitment strategies for hard-to-fill roles.

    • Ensure all candidates receive an amazing experience, regardless of the outcome of their application.
    • Manage communication throughout the hiring process.

    • Participate in employer branding, careers events, or outreach activities.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Strong experience of end-to-end recruitment across both volume and specialist roles.
  • Excellent communication to candidates and hiring managers.
  • Demonstratable experience of direct sourcing using a range of channels including LinkedIn and other CV databases.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Experience in running group recruitment events and 1:1 interviews.
  • Ability to offer guidance and advice to leaders and be a critical friend in decision-making.
  • Experience in challenging recruitment climates in sourcing hard-to-find talent.
