Agency to in-house? Or perhaps you’re already recruiting within professional services and fancy a change.

You’ll focus on recruitment across HR, BD & Marketing, Risk & Compliance, IT, Finance and other business services functions - with the autonomy and ownership to make a real impact.

You’ll join a small recruitment team: Recruitment Assistant, Recruitment Advisor, Senior Recruitment Advisor and Head of Recruitment. So while there’s plenty of support around you, there’s also real responsibility, visibility and scope to make the role your own.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The firm has around 500 people, all under one roof. It’s big enough to have real presence, but small enough that you can build proper relationships across the business and be recognised for what you do.

What makes the firm different?

  • A genuinely supportive, down-to-earth culture (we know this having worked with them for over a decade)
  • Real flexibility - it’s how they work, not just a policy
  • A strong commitment to inclusion
  • Business services professionals are genuinely valued (not all law firms can say that)
  • People stay - including senior people - because it’s a good place to work

The role itself will see you managing business services recruitment across the firm, partnering with hiring managers, working closely with trusted recruitment agencies and owning the process from initial brief through to offer and onboarding.

You’ll also support more senior and Director-level recruitment, including research, scheduling and headcount tracking.

I can’t stress this enough - this is a brilliant place to start your in-house recruitment career. And if you’re already in-house, it’s a pretty good place to continue it too.

You can apply in seconds - no CV needed upfront. We’ll sort that later.
