£27,500 – £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
About the role
You'll be the first point of contact for the tutors and course delivery staff who bring our academic programmes to life across our centres in Oxford, Cambridge and Harrow. As our Recruitment and HR Coordinator, you'll own a high-volume candidate pipeline from advertising through to onboarding, whilst also owning ongoing HR administration such as onboarding, compliance documentation and staff support for our permanent, year round team within our People and Culture team.
Recruitment
- Pipeline ownership – manage candidate pipelines and our talent pool/returner network for course staff and tutor roles
- Advertising – post seasonal and head office roles across LinkedIn, job boards and mailing lists; represent Atlas Summer Courses at career fairs
- Sifting & interviews – process high-volume applications and coordinate interviews across all UK centres
- Compliance – coordinate right to work, enhanced DBS and reference checks in line with safeguarding policy

HR Administration
- Query administration – first point of contact for HR queries, escalating and liaising on payroll as needed
- Company benefits - dealing with administration and queries from team members
- Participation in wider projects and initiatives - such as employee engagement and training and development activities and any other duties as requested
- HR systems - keeping records up to date
Essential
- Experience in HR, recruitment, or a similar high-volume coordination role
- Organised and systematic, with the ability to reprioritise as new information arrives
- Confident building rapport across a wide range of stakeholders
- Comfortable in a fast paced, cyclical hiring environment
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Google Workspace and CRM tools
- Ability to keep information confidential
- Flexibility and an adaptable approach to work, with a can-do attitude
Desirable
- Good technical understanding of DBS and Right to Work checks
- Familiarity with Salesforce and/or an HRIS system
- Knowledge of fixed-term employment
