Recruitment & Resourcing Manager
Manchester Circa £40,000 per annum (depending on experience) Permanent | 35 hours per week

is seeking a talented and proactive Recruitment & Resourcing Manager to lead the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive and responsive recruitment service. In this pivotal role, you'll help attract exceptional talent that supports groundbreaking cancer research and scientific innovation.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Chief HR Officer, you will lead and develop the recruitment function, driving innovative attraction strategies, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience and supporting hiring managers in securing top talent across a diverse range of roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment activity across scientific, technical, clinical and professional services roles
- Develop and implement proactive resourcing and talent attraction strategies
- Partner with managers to understand workforce requirements and future hiring needs
- Manage recruitment systems and applicant tracking platforms
- Lead immigration and sponsorship processes, ensuring compliance with UKVI requirements
- Coach and develop Recruitment Officers within the team
- Drive continuous improvement and best practice across recruitment processes
- Enhance employer branding through social media, career events and recruitment campaigns

About You
You'll have:
- Significant recruitment and resourcing experience within a complex organisation
- Experience developing recruitment strategies and advising hiring managers
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and recruitment best practice
- Experience managing recruitment systems and processes
- Understanding of right-to-work requirements and UK immigration processes
- Previous line management experience
- CIPD Level 7 qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills
