Recruitment and Resourcing Officers
We're currently recruiting for two Recruitment and Resourcing Officers to join our team. One vacancy has arisen due to an internal move, and the other is on a fixed term basis.
Two roles available:
- Full-Time, Open-Ended (37 hours per week, Mon – Thurs 9.00am to 5.00pm and Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm)
- Part-Time, Fixed-Term for up to 12 months (18.5 hours per week, 0.5 FTE) or earlier return of the postholder
Both roles offer hybrid working, combining office and home working, with an initial office based training period.
Working arrangements:
- Full-time: office-based Tuesday, Wednesday (Team Day) and Friday
- Part-time: Wednesday to Friday, office based on Wednesday (Team Day) and Thursday.

Do you enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders? Do you thrive on providing an exceptional customer service? Our Recruitment and Resourcing team are responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for all academic and professional services roles across the University.
About the role:
Daily, you’ll manage your own portfolio being responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process from advertising to onboarding successful candidates. You’ll provide recruitment and resourcing advice to your hiring managers including where and how to advertise creatively. You’ll support on immigration activities in relation to the new starter process; including right to work checks, Academic Visitor letters and Certificates of Sponsorships. You'll be joining a supportive team environment, working closely with experienced colleagues who will help you develop your recruitment and immigration knowledge.
Key Requirements:
You’ll need to be comfortable talking to and advising colleagues at all levels of the university. Have a can-do attitude and thrive on providing excellent customer service to our candidates and key stakeholders. You will be the first point of contact in the team for your designated portfolio customers and will work alongside a team of fellow Officers. You will need to have administration experience and ideally, this would be in a recruitment and resourcing environment, but this is not essential. Your previous administration experience should include prioritising and processing high numbers of tasks with a high level of accuracy and in a timely manner, as well as experience of IT systems including Microsoft applications.
