📍 Location: Blackpool Head Office

🕒 Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday (Office-Based)

💷 Pay: £13.25 per Hour

📄 Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

🚗 Essential: Full UK Driving Licence and Access to Your Own Vehicle

What You'll Be Doing

As our Recruitment & Retention Officer, you'll take a leading role in ensuring ICare attracts and retains exceptional talent across our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging, high-impact job adverts that attract quality candidates.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, recruitment fairs, networking opportunities, and innovative recruitment campaigns.
  • Build strong partnerships with Hiring Managers and support recruitment planning across multiple locations.
  • Deliver an outstanding candidate experience from application through to onboarding.
  • Arrange interviews and provide recruitment guidance to operational managers.
  • Conduct pre-employment checks, references, right-to-work checks, and compliance processes.
  • Ensure candidates complete onboarding requirements and mandatory training.
  • Produce recruitment reports and analyse recruitment trends.
  • Develop relationships with Job Centres, colleges, community organisations, and local employment providers.
  • Attend and organise recruitment events and job fairs.
  • Conduct exit interviews and support retention initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and reducing turnover.

We are seeking someone who is:

  • Creative when it comes to attracting talent.
  • Confident building relationships with people at all levels.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, trustworthy, and discreet when handling confidential information.
  • Positive, resilient, and solution-focused.
  • A team player who embraces our ICARE values.
  • A driver with access to their own vehicle and a full UK driving licence.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Previous recruitment experience
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Experience sourcing candidates through multiple channels
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Experience building effective stakeholder relationships
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
